K ofthe Day

You really have to love this part of our club. The K of the Day stands up, says a few words, and knocks the club off their collective feet. This is what happened with our K of the Day, Cliff Reed. I am sure everyone was as impressed as I was. I am glad to know Cliff this much better.

Hope of America Awards

John Lowey has all the volunteers lined up for the Hope of America awards, with the first presentation beginning May 21.

White Elephant Sale

With the help of lots of Kiwanians, Gary Miller turned a buncho stuff in peoples garages into about $1400 for the club. Those who I saw participating (and my apologies for the ones I omit) included Gary Miller, Tony Lopes, Eileen Robbins, Mary Holmes, Jeff Johnson, Ray and Ginny Eberhard, Cliff Reed, Marty Lovitz, Terry Shankman, Jack Lacy, Larry Levine, Herb Franklin, Eddy Choy, Laura Harris,

Dianne Marantz, and Jim Ferguson. Also were a handful of Key Clubbers.

Scholarships

Jim Ferguson (this guy has really pitched in and is making a difference) announced that May 25 will be the Scholarship lunch. Don't miss it, it is the best meeting of the year.

Happy and Sad Dollars
